Terms of Service

Welcome to MAO Agribase (the "Application"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Application, which is provided by the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. By creating an account and using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MAO Agribase is a centralized, secure, and intelligent platform built to help the Municipal Agriculture Office manage agricultural data more efficiently. The system was planned, designed, and developed solely by Allen James C. Carzon, RAgr (Registered Agriculturalist) as a contribution to support the office's mission of serving the agricultural community.

MAO Agribase was conceived, planned, designed, and programmed entirely by Allen James C. Carzon, RAgr. The developer is a Registered Agriculturalist who built this system voluntarily to help the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro streamline its agricultural data management processes.

This system is the result of sole individual effort, from conceptualization and system architecture to front-end and back-end development. The developer's goal is to provide a modern, reliable, and user-friendly tool that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the Municipal Agriculture Office.

All rights, title, and interest in and to MAO Agribase, including but not limited to its source code, design, architecture, UI/UX elements, documentation, and all related intellectual property, are the sole property of Allen James C. Carzon, RAgr.

• Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Authorized Use: This Application is intended for official use by authorized personnel of the Municipal Agriculture Office and its stakeholders. Unauthorized access or use is strictly prohibited.

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data you input into the system. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Farmer and fisherfolk profiles (RSBSA records)
• Planting, damage, and harvest reports
• Employee profiles and assigned government properties
• Records of cooperatives, associations, and member lists
• Veterinary records, including vaccination reports and vitamin supplementation records for livestock and poultry
• Agriculture and Biosystem Engineering records, including farm machinery inventory and equipment tracking
• Records of issued certifications and endorsements
• Office accomplishment records, including program details, budgets, and photos
• Production summaries and archived historical data

The data collected will be used solely for official purposes related to agricultural management, planning, and reporting.

You agree not to use the Application to:

• Input knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or system data.
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or performance of the Application.
• Use the Application for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.
• Reproduce, distribute, or share any part of the system without the developer's written consent.

The Application's AI-powered features use third-party services (Google's AI Platform). By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• Diagnostics: The diagnoses and recommendations are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional agronomic advice. The Municipal Agriculture Office is not liable for any crop loss or damage resulting from the use of these tools.
• AI Assistant: The AI assistant uses the data stored in the application to answer your questions. Its responses are based on the data it can access and may be incomplete if the underlying data is incomplete. Always verify critical information.
• Data Processing: The images and text you submit will be sent to Google for processing to generate a response.

The Application uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) to maintain your login session and remember your user preferences. By using the Application, you consent to the use of these essential cookies. We do not use them for tracking or advertising.

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Application, or the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information and content, including AI-generated content.

In no event shall the developers or the Municipal Agriculture Office be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application, including reliance on any information or AI-generated content obtained through it.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

These Terms and the operation of MAO Agribase are governed by and comply with the following laws of the Republic of the Philippines:

• Republic Act No. 10173 - Data Privacy Act of 2012

  Protects individual personal information and data in information and communications systems in both the government and private sector.

• Republic Act No. 8792 - Electronic Commerce Act of 2000

  Provides for the recognition and use of electronic data messages, electronic documents, and electronic signatures, and the penalties for violations thereof.

• Republic Act No. 10175 - Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012

  Defines and penalizes cybercrime offenses, including illegal access, data interference, computer-related fraud, and violations of data privacy committed through ICT.

• Republic Act No. 7394 - Consumer Act of the Philippines

  Establishes consumer protection standards including the protection of personal consumer data and fair trade practices.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms within the Application or via email.
